DC Organizers Plan To Buy Out Movie Theater for Black Panther Premiere
Marvel's Black Panther is already well on it's way to being one of the most successful films of all time. Pre-sale tickets for the film have already broken records and three local organizers want to up the anti by selling out a whole movie theater on the premiere of the movie. They have created a GoFundMe account called the The Black Panther Movie Buy Out for 100 DC & MD Students Washington, D.C. on February 18. The goal is to raise $3000 to buy out a theater at the Regal Gallery Place Cinemas downtown

"The goal is to give our youth a day to relax and have fun. Its been a lot going lately in the DC area including the lost of a lot of our young people due to violence, bullying etc . We are going take this day to show them that we care and provide a much needed break . We are encouraging our network along with other creatives, businesses , brands, artist to help us with the mission."
The event & premiere party will both take place on Sunday, February 18 at the Regal Cinemas Gallery Place 14. The organizers plan to feature a red carpet, live entertainment from local artists, catered dining, merchandise giveaways and more.
