The Entertainment Industry Remembers Hip-Hop Accountant & Businessman Bert Padell

Accountant and author, Bert Padell, passed away in January at the age of 84 due to complications of Parkinson's disease and is being remembered by the entertainment industry for his work. Padell was known throughout the entertainment industry for handling accounts for the likes of Madonna, Robert De Niro, Alice Cooper, and Joe DiMaggio during his almost 60-year career. During the mid-1980s, the businessman formed his relationship with Hip-Hop. He took on artists, producers, and label executives as clients, building strong business ties with Run-DMC, Rakim, Diddy, and Swizz Beatz. He is being remembered for offering mentorship, personal advice, and life-changing business connections.
